Feeling during creation: Panic
I only intended to make one plate, but I had so much extra sand. I use real beach sand and live hours from any beach…. So I couldn’t waste it! I had no design in mind before this creation and the resin was hardening. Initially I tried to plan a design at the last minute, but there was no time. In that moment, I felt as though I was adding just anything… literally anywhere haha
However, once finished, I grew such a fondness of this piece. I feel that the beach design meets a perfect interior decor with the use of the beads, but more importantly…
I feel like the product perfectly captured the panicked feeling I was feeling. Which, for me, makes it perfect!
