I believe it is important to know that love does not always look the same… those broken moments, they, too, make us who we are.
I used broken shells to express this.
It is not often that I think of past relationships, but on this day, I found myself thinking about a recent relationship. I thought of the moments we shared, and I found myself smiling. While I experienced no negative thoughts or feelings, I felt grateful. Grateful for the experiences and thankful for the fact that my season with that person had passed.
